Tatyana Skevin

CPA, CVA, CFE

Tatyana Skevin is principal and founder of Skevin CPA. With more than 15 years of varied accounting and managerial experience, Tatyana has been exposed to many facets of accounting, e.g. assurance and advisory, tax, forensic accounting, and business valuation. Early on in the career she learned importance of interpersonal skills which led to many success stories.  This experience enables to provide wider perspectives and beneficial solutions for her clients.

 

Tatyana is well versed in various forensic accounting analyses in the area of matrimonial litigation and fraud investigation. Her analytical skills, attention to details, and dedication to uncovering facts have all been essential to developing expertise in these areas. She holds a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Valuation Analyst designations that are specific for these areas of practice and require continuing, comprehensive training. In addition, Tatyana has extensive experience in conducting audit engagements, evaluating company’s internal controls, assisting businesses to set up accounting systems and to analyze financial statements.

 

Born in a Korean family in the former Soviet Union, she maintains native fluency in Russian and speaks good Korean as a second foreign language.

 

Tatyana holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from University of Economics in Uzbekistan. Having traveled extensively in Asia and Europe, Tatyana’s work experience abroad includes banking and travel industries.

 

Tatyana volunteers as a specialty  mentor for The South Bay Entrepreneurial Center, whose mission is to empower innovation & entrepreneurship.

 

 

In the free time, Tatyana enjoys traveling with her husband and son, meeting friends around the globe. She has a passion for dancing and reading crime novels.
